Kistler upgrades injection monitoring system
Time: 2009-03-03

Kistler has upgraded its Como Injection process monitoring system to provide 24-channel capability for use with Version 2.0 software.

The main feature of the software is real-time processing capability for cascade control of the injection phase.

The opening and closing of the needles can be activated on a differential or absolute basis by either pressure or time.

Used with a PC or dedicated 12.1in colour touch-screen monitor in conjunction with the integrated multi-channel cabling for Kistler cavity pressure and temperature sensors, the Como Injection system provides a complete moulding process monitoring and control system.

In combination with the Como MIS (management information system) and integral Curve Viewer module, the latest version offers sensor, connection system, process control and monitoring through to process data storage, documentation and analysis.

As a complete system for zero-defect production, Kistler said Como Injection ensures 100 per cent quality during injection moulding.
